Visiting the portfolio

The public site displays artwork, project descriptions and any contact details the artist chooses to publish. It does not have a visitor registration, payment or contact-submission form.

Google Firebase Hosting processes technical information, including IP addresses, to deliver the site and detect abuse. The site does not add advertising or audience-analytics tools.

The moving map runs in your browser. Pointer movement controls the visual effect locally; the site does not send those movements to a tracking service.

Editor sign-in

The content editor uses Google sign-in through Firebase Authentication. Choosing to sign in shares account information such as your account identifier, name, email address, profile picture and email-verification status with the authentication service. The site uses your verified identity to check whether you have editing permission.

Google sign-in does not give this site access to your Gmail messages or contacts. Editing is limited to approved accounts. Authentication services also process technical information to maintain sessions and prevent misuse.

Portfolio content

Approved editors can save portfolio text, project ordering, images, image references and site details in Google Cloud Firestore. Uploaded images are resized and compressed in your browser before the web copy is saved. Original image files remain on your device; keep your own originals and backups.

The private working copy records the editor’s account identifier, email, revision and save time to manage updates. Upload records also identify the uploader privately. Editor and uploader identity are excluded from the public content and images.

The public version excludes draft projects. An uploaded image becomes publicly accessible when it is referenced by published portfolio content. Draft-only images and the full working copy are restricted to approved editors.

Content published to the portfolio is public. Editors should only publish material they are permitted to share, including any people’s names, images or contact details appearing in that material. Keep confidential information out of portfolio fields.

Services and external links

Google provides Firebase Hosting, Authentication and Cloud Firestore for site delivery, editor access and content storage. These services may process information outside your country. Read Firebase’s privacy and security information and the Google Privacy Policy for their practices.

Portfolio images hosted on another service load from that service, which receives the network information needed to deliver the image. Opening Instagram, BrickBrick or another external link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices. The portfolio does not embed an Instagram feed.

Storage and your choices

Editor sign-in uses session-based browser storage. Sign out on a shared device. Your separate Google account session follows Google’s settings. Clearing browser site data can remove this site’s saved sign-in state; downloaded backups remain on your device until you remove them.

Portfolio content remains until an authorized editor changes or removes it. Authentication and service records have separate retention periods under the provider’s practices. Removing a public item cannot remove copies other people have already downloaded or cached.

For questions about your information, or to request access, correction or deletion, contact the website support address below. Requests are considered under applicable law, and identity verification or retention of some records may be necessary.
